Port Technical Company specializes in the assembly of steel structures, cranes, gantry cranes and repairs of handling and transportation equipment. Workers perform assembly of devices in every corner of the world. PZT since 2000 is well known and recognized brand which guarantees high quality services and being a reliable and trustworthy partner. The most weighty achievements of the Port Technical Company should include the implementation in recent years such tasks as: complex assembly of all container handling equipment at the youngest Polish terminal – Deepwater Container Terminal in Gdansk (2007/2008/2011/2012) and participation in modernization HHLA container terminal in Hamburg (2006/2007/2008/2011). A well-executed installation of 30 pieces of gantry cranes working in automatic mode (ASC) in Abu Dhabi in 2011/2012 caused an another big contract assembly – 20 automatic gantry cranes ASC in New York terminal – last 5 pieces were delivered in March.
– In 2014 we are planning to assemble about 100 gantry cranes type “straddle carrier” and “shuttle carrier” and it will be a record – says Krzysztof Bak, CO of the Port Technical Company.
– Currently on our site there is an assemble of two large RTG cranes for the port in Algeria, we will also assemble a series of prototype RTG gantry cranes for the port in Oslo. We will create a five standard RTG gantry cranes, two for the port of New York, two for Russia and one for Germany. Later we take part in assembly of two gantry rail cranes to New York and the next two gantry rail cranes – this time for the Baltic Container Terminal. And these are the tasks that we perform on our sites in the Port of Gdynia. Typically, the export task is already virtually completed assembly of four RTG gantry cranes at the port of Pointe Noire in the Republic of the Congo, and assembly work on STS cranes in Shanghai.
For two months we are planning to complete the assembly of crane in Brazil, and in July another PZT team will go to Indonesia to build a large automatical terminal. In our plans there are also flight to Colombia, Korea, the work with our Self Proppeled Modular Transporter (SPMT)…
